I love to visit unique places for food, and Amachi’s Palagaram in SS17 definitely deserves a place in a list of unique eateries.
This is a business run by second and third-generation family members, and named after their late grandmother who began making Palagaram back in the 70’s to support the family.
The recipes have since been passed down, and the residents of Subang Jaya are now able to enjoy the traditional taste of Amachi’s Palagaram.
Food
Aaron and Narmatha pour their heart and soul into the food that they make, and it truly shines through from the first bite you take. Starting from the flour that they make themselves, to the care of preparing the appam, you’ll be guaranteed a tasty treat.
I enjoyed the Paal Appam with Jaggery, and found the Egg Appam with Coconut Sambal very satisfying.
