Overview
I feel there are times when a topic needs to be given some time to cool down. The reasons can range from topics/businesses going too viral (for better or worse) and repetitive, or the breaking of group rules such as unapproved marketing activities by a business, or stemming excessive negative sentiment, or situations that make it hard to run our community.
This isn’t meant to be create an inconvenience to the businesses that are listed here, but I’ve decided that it’s a necessary part of keeping our community fresh and fun.
Many members may not realise this, but some businesses owners actually do proactively reach out to me and suggest that we let things cool down, and hopefully avoid the topic is becoming repetitive or stale. There isn’t a perfect time to do it, but I’ll be doing my best to manage it.
As always, I’m constantly learning and trying to improve the process of being a good steward of our community, so things will always be in a constant process of change.
